A do date puts the task in Daily Plate that day (it rolls forward until done); anything already in Do or Clear shows there regardless. High/Critical tasks need a deadline.
:
High/Critical tasks can't sit dateless in Plan any more — every one needs a real target, even a generous one. Set a deadline for each to continue.

Urgency is recalculated every day from these thresholds. Changing one re-scores every task straight away.
The score climbs between these points and hits 100 on the day or when overdue.
Editing, checking off or bumping a task resets its clock.
priority = weight × importance (Low 25 · Medium 50 · High 75 · Critical 100) + (1 − weight) × urgency. 0.5 weighs both equally; the score sets how vivid each row's colour is.
The split is the low/high boundary on both axes; the panel lists the top N tasks plus anything at or above the flag score.
Re-flags an undated task every N days untouched, colored by which threshold it's past.
A task planned for today scores at least this much urgency. Keep it above the quadrant split so being in Daily Plate genuinely moves a task into Do (important) or Clear (less important), instead of just looking more urgent while it stays in Plan or Backlog. Never lowers a score that a real deadline or staleness already put higher.
A weekly habit also appears this many days before week's end (3 = from Thursday on); monthly works the same way. Not-due-soon habits sit in Fridge instead.
Capacity view shades each day by effort ÷ this many points (Bite-size = 1 point, otherwise 2, a habit completion = 1); a marker appears past 100%.
